Adele Health — Redesigning Diabetes Care by Putting Patients First
Building a connected approach to metabolic health through glucose monitoring, personalized insights, and AI-powered technology.
Adele Health’s modern platform will help people better understand and manage diabetes.
By combining connected devices, intelligent insights, and consumer-first design, the company is working to make healthcare technology simpler, more intuitive, and easier to use in everyday life.

For Adele Health co-founder and CEO Mark Norton, the idea started close to home. After watching a loved one navigate the daily challenges of diabetes management, he saw firsthand how difficult it could be to make sense of the devices and data people rely on to manage their health.
"It’s no secret that medical technology today is tedious and difficult to use,” Mark said. "Instead of forcing people to change their lives to fit their devices, we’re building products that fit into the life they already have."

Mark brought a unique perspective to the challenge. Before founding Adele Health, he worked on the Apple Watch and AirTags teams at Apple, where he learned what it takes to build something people love. Alongside co-founder Tyler Boyd, an engineer and attorney focused on using AI to turn health data into meaningful insights, the pair saw an opportunity to build something better.
As they turned the idea into a company, Nashville's innovation ecosystem helped accelerate the journey. Mark participated in the Entrepreneur Center's Project Healthcare accelerator, and Adele Health became an InvestTN portfolio company through Launch Tennessee.
"One of my favorite things about building a company in Nashville is the founder community," Mark said. "Everyone is so collaborative and helps one another. It’s a community that believes in each other."

That collaborative spirit helped Adele Health gain the support, connections, and momentum needed to grow.
"here’s no better place to build this company than Nashville," Tyler said. "The support we've found here lets us focus on making it easier for people to take control of their health."

Today, Adele Health is helping make healthcare technology more intuitive, connected, and accessible for the people who use it every day.
As Mark puts it, “it’s a mission we sum up in two words: you matter.”
